The Dream: A man with black hair wants it lightened. I think the processing will leave him with an unattractive brassy reddish color.
Interpretation: What comes out of our head? Hair and thoughts. The black hair that I want to transform represents dark thoughts. I want to “lighten up,” but something is holding me back: Stop lights are red, like the brassy hair color.
Our hair can also be associated to our persona - what "look" do I want to present to the world now? Is there a "brassy" attitude I or someone else has had that's been unattractive to me and needs changing? I would like to dialogue with this character and ask him why he wants his hair lightened. Will he think it'll be an unattractive color? Sometimes ego's version is not correct. E
